Hey Bears! PE Video #15 takes us to Mrs. Thompson's second home, RE Fitness. She leads us through a full body workout. Things that may want before you start:
If you are on carpet- Paper plates
If you are on hardwood floors or tiles- Hand towels or socks or paper plates
Towel or yoga mat (no yoga though).
Enjoy it, I know I did...and I am still a little sore.
Stay well, stay safe,
Oh boy Brentwood Bears! This one is a GOOOOOD one. Happy Monday PE Rock Stars! Let me introduce you to all of the Mead School District’s Elementary PE teachers! Lace up your shoes, change into your favorite workout gear, and GET YOUR WORKOUT ON with us!!!!
Here’s the challenge….
Click the video link below, watch the video through one time and get familiar with the exercises. Next, get your water bottle handy, find a good workout space, loosen up, get your game face on and then play it again… this time you get to participate along with us!!! Do the exercises side-by-side with our favorite elementary PE teachers. When the ball gets passed, get ready to change exercises. Try to make it one time through without taking a break. If that’s easy for you – RAISE THE BAR – and aim higher, maybe twice through without a break (then give yourself a pat on the back for challenging yourself). For an even bigger challenge, do the video exercises once or twice a day each day this week.
All of us are super excited to virtually exercise with you!! I would love to hear from you! Send me an email and let me know how your workout with us went and what your favorite exercises were. Have a great week and keep being AMAZING!!!
Stay safe and stay healthy,
For the second PE for the week, Video #11 takes on some choices that focus on Muscular Strength and Muscular Endurance. You get to choose an Avenger workout with me. I gotta say, it was harder than I thought. After that, you can play a Mario game where you have to decide what to do. Choose right, you get a point and an easier activity. Choose incorrectly, you get an activity and no point. I missed most of them :(Uploaded Apr 26, 2020 to PE
Hey Team, here is video #10 that has a couple fun cardiorespiratory activities. One requires you to act as if you are unlocking your phone, the other you are a drummer. If you think that sounds a little weird, I think it is...but fun too! Share some pics or vids of you being active! I love seeing that!
Remember to email me your pics/videos to: Roger.Thompson@mead354.org
Keep the Heely challenges coming...I have a few tricks up my sleeve.
Stay safe..stay well,
For your 2nd PE this week, Video #9 is again loaded with fun stuff. And again, at the end there is some SERIOUS legit jump roping skills. 13 time world champion jump roper Nick Woodard and professional jump roper Kaylee Couvillion dazzle us with their skills. I'd say, "Don't try this at home," but, I think I will defer to your parents and let them make the call.
Make sure to send me your pics and vids: Roger.firstname.lastname@example.org
