2019-2020 Highly Capable Referral Window

During January & February students may be referred for K-12 Highly Capable (gifted) evaluation for possible designation in the 2019-20 school year. Anyone can refer a student for consideration. Click the link for more information.

Free Ski & Snowboard PassPort for 5th Graders

5th grade students are eligible to ski / snowboard for free at least 3 times at the following ski areas: 49 Degrees, Lookout Pass, Mt. Spokane, Silver Mountain, Brundage Mountain and Loup Loup. There is a $20 processing fee. Click the link for more information and/or to register.

6th Grade Center 2019-20 School Year

To address the need for additional elementary classroom space next year (2019-2020), while we wait for our new elementary school and new middle school to open in the fall of 2020, the Mead School District will be moving 6th graders from Brentwood, Evergreen, Farwell and Midway (schools with a current student enrollment of 600+ students) to a 6th Grade Center located at the old Northwood building.
